OHS NAMES OSU FUNDRAISING LEADER TO DEVELOPMENT POST
Jeri Kozobarich will direct institutional advancement for Ohio Historical Society
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Historical Society today announced that Jeri Kozobarich, a veteran fundraising professional at The Ohio State University, has been named the Society’s new Director of Institutional Advancement, effective Dec. 11.
For more than 20 years, Kozobarich has worked in various development capacities at OSU, currently serving as the leader of the development department for the College of Education and Human Ecology, formerly the College of Education, where she has worked since 1989. Prior to that, she directed the OSU campus-wide faculty and staff campaign and served as director of development for the College of Social Work.
Kozobarich is a graduate cum laude of Muskingum College with a degree in history and has received an M.A. in Education Policy and Leadership from OSU’s College of Education.
She succeeds Scott Mueller, who is retiring Dec. 31 after more than five years with the Ohio Historical Society and more than 25 years in fundraising and other capacities at The Ohio State University.
“We have made tremendous strides in the advancement function under Scott Mueller’s leadership, and we feel fortunate to have found in Jeri Kozobarich a person who brings the skill set, personality, experience and sense of humor necessary to build on the accomplishments of Scott and his team,” said William K. Laidlaw Jr., OHS executive director. “We’re confident that under Jeri we can take the advancement operations to new levels.”
