VALENTINE’S DINNER AND CONCERT PLANNED FOR OHIO VILLAGE
Ohio Village Singers will perform period romantic ballads on Feb. 10 and 14
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Village will become the romantic setting for two dinner events, Valentines by Candlelight, on Saturday, Feb. 10 and Wednesday, Feb. 14, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Upon entering the American House Hotel, guests will be greeted by costumed interpreters from the Victorian period and entertained by romantic melodies performed on the hammered dulcimer and violin while being treated to a cup of “Sweetheart Punch.” A romantic meal will be served, featuring marinated grilled Texas sirloin, pasta cassie, asparagus spears and other delicious items. The vegetarian option is marinated stuffed portabella mushroom.
Following the meal, the Ohio Village Singers will present an entertaining concert of period love ballads and comic songs interspersed with romantic verse, poetry and readings. Each guest will receive a handmade valentine created especially for the occasion.
